OCC Watercolor- Day 3 Negative Painting
I was in awe of this technicque that Dawn showed us. Her sample was beautiful. I was soooo excited when she commented on how easy it was to do. Boy, did I struggle with the amount of water and paint to use. In the end, this was my best attempt. I definetly improved with each attempt. Will continue to practice, practice, practice...

Thank you so much for mentioning that this technique took some time to develop. I, too, didn't intuitively get great results, but I can definitely see that it is getting to know the substrate on this one more than anything. Your work turned out great!
ReplyDeleteYes this was a very challenging technique. That is really great you kept on trying. Your butterflies look nice. I posted mine but kind of didn't want to. I need to make a few more attempts.
